Gotta admit - this mostly makes me think of a day when I went into my son's closet when he was little. He was really into "science experiments" at the time, and had managed to take every bottle of sauce out of the fridge and pantry - ketchup, mustard, worchestershire, hot sauce, vinegars, oils, you name it, and use them in his latest, greatest experiment. There is no way I was going to put any of that stuff (now growing) back in the kitchen. Now, I regularly throw out bottles of stuff I deem "too old". You talk about a bottle of hot sauce from '69 - all I think of is "eeeeeewwww!"
