     edit: And although I'm sure someone like Scovie or myself could put one of those Troy Bilt leaf blowers to good use stoking a bonfire (Hey, it takes a hot fire to completely eliminate a plastic garbage can. If the fire starts to burn rich, then the plastic just melts and smokes. And that's no fun.), they are, like all other leaf blowers, a complete joke for collecting leaves. I could rake circles around any doofus clearing his yard with one of those.
     I understand "sweeping" the driveway or the garage with one. I've even used them to clean chip trucks before (inside and out  :D ). But to use one (as so many of my idiot neighbors do) as the go-to method of picking up leaves in fall just grinds my gears and makes me shake my head.
