I feel obligated to question your argument, so please answer the following 2 questions:eGarden said:Hi all!
My name is Jessica and I own eGardenSeed.com. I just wanted to address some of your questions/concerns about us:
1. You are absolutely correct. We are a small, family owned business. We are based in Colorado. We get a lot of our seeds from local growers but we also buy seed from growers all over the world.
2. Our prices are based on our packaging and labor costs etc. We hand pack every pack of seeds. While I do agree you can certainly find cheaper prices--you may also be finding cheaper seeds.
3. We take GREAT pride in serving our customers and in offering honest, quality business relationships
4. We actually did not write our own review on Dave's Garden. Unfortunately that was when we first started our company and we had a family friend ask to review our seeds as they had grown many of them. They did not have a computer at the time so I brought my lap top to their house. Obviosuly I have since learned about IP addresses and have never done that again! Funny (and sometimes unfortunate) things happen in small family businessess... and that was definitely one for us!
Anyway, if I can help you firther or if you'd like ot know more about our company please ask. I always appreciate your feedback/suggestions etc.
All the best,
Jessica

Your prices should be competitive. $8.90 for bishop crown seeds and $9.90 for Trinidad Scorpion seeds, for example, are way too high. Hmm, I'm not sure why the black pearl seeds are 11.50. People can buy a black pearl plant for cheaper. The prices are ridiculous.
Edit: $15.25 for bhut jolokia seeds?!?!? You can't say it's because of quality. People can buy them from The Chile Pepper Institution for 9 bucks, which I think is overpriced, but they have top quality seeds.
Edit again: $17.50 for 10 Trinidad Butch T. seeds? I'm sorry but that's not fair to people! I think you should look at your competition and come up with realistic prices.
The Jamaican Yellow Scotch Bonnet Chili Peppers in the pic look like c. annuum. I dunno if those were the ones you wanted. I bought some like that myself. I knew they were not true when buying them though. Still a cool pepper. The "Jamaican Hot Chocolate Scotch Bonnet Pepper" is not a Scotch bonnet either.
