It was icy as hell this morning.  but got over freezing for the first time in god knows how long this afternoon. Looks like all next week is going to be a heat wave in the 40s n 50s. Can't wait for spring.

we don't boil it. that would be gross. We usually make it in the oven. Only thing getting boiled is the cabbage... and potatoes for mash taters. 
 
NO MEAT OTHER THAN SHELLFISH SHOULD BE BOILED IN MY BOOK. That's just a travesty. 
 
My exwife used to boil chicken for enchiladas... would never let me grill it or anything... I hated her enchiladas. 

please tell me it wasn't her enchiladas that done you's in ,

Thanks for the site info! Just bought 2 full size slabs of Corned beef (about 30lbs total weight ) Just to make pastrami. Sure looking forward to trying that recipe out this week.
