to me it is a fine line between a few nipped leaves/no big deal and a loss of production or risk of disease because of said munching, and i'll err to the side of productivity/healthy plants

Even though most of the fertilizer I use for my containers plants I found foliar spraying with organics keeps pests away. Organic grows stronger plants.
