I don't think the tipping is much of a concern. Normal winds aren't a big deal (especially if the container is staked). We rarely get hail. And when we do get hurricanes, if you value your plants, you take them in. They won't blow away, light containers will tip over, but overall, they'll just get shredded. And the stress of that kind of weather, kills plants of this nature, almost every time. Last time we had a storm, I had an almost 0% survival rate, even putting them in my covered porch. Outside plants were absolutely 0%. They were turning brown within 3 days, so it's safe to say, that's pretty definitively killed.
