food Father's day jerk pork

You do NOT use mayo with jerk.  A jerk bbq sauce, a citrus sauce ok.  Mayo?  No way.  That would just cover up the jerk.  I have half a mind to go update the rules right now.

I'm divided on this one ...

On one hand, mayo is an improvement to most anythang ...

On the other hand, jerk is a nice fresh paste that seems somehow soiled by the addition of mayo ...

Hmmm ...

I'm on the fence.

I like a small amount of protective mayo on cooked proteins ...

Torn.

Conflicted.

Jay blackens in oil and BBQs in the oven. Y'all are on me for a f**king condiment made of eggs and oil? Google it.

Lol putting jerk pork on white bread and mayo, and your ketchup, makes me think of people who put ketchup on a steak. They always look like a little kid lol.

I've had Duke's from some places ... I love mayo ... I'd probably like it ...
But ... I'd go w/ jerk aioli  to solve the problem Ozzy rightfully poses ...

Hold the jerked mayo ...

Mayo is just eggs and oil bro... and there's a jar in the pic lol... I bet he used some as well. Shall we talk about blackening in oil? Or.........
A oh, oh A! Who said anything about sammies? I will neither confirm nor deny the use of mayo on any said sammies... which i have already stated may or may not have happened!

Originally, I was going to pile up on this thread because it is humorous

But then I got to thinking, at least Jay T has a grill, and a new BGE on the way if he doesn't have it already. Where is your smoker boss?

I remember that #mayogate. The big company backed off the lawsuit.

In the Caymans a popular dish is conch fritters with jerk mayo. #mayogate #tryit #donthate

Like many, I live to Mayo All The Things ...

Undercover Brother would not disagree with you. Though he has an overall distaste for mayo...
