Feeding Schedule for Jolokias

Now I know everyone here says to water the plants once a week when the plants are just starting off, but how about when they are a little bit older? Mplants are about to reach 3 months old on monday and ive already planted them outside. Now i live in Miami, FL where the weather is more intense some parts of the united states, so should i water the plant more often? or should i feel the soil and if its dry, then feed them? ill try to take some porn pics later on and show you guys my progress.

yeah they are in the ground right now. the transplanting gave them quite a shock and they are recovering now. i also gave them water with some tomato fert like 2 days ago. i also planted my favorite of the lot on in a big pot. i felt like this miami weather dries up ground fairly quickly so i added a light layer of perlite. not sure if this was a good idea or not. anyways, so basically, when the soil is dry, then i water?

If your plants are in the ground, and you arent that familiar with watering schedules, I would buy a soil meter. Your plants will tell you when they need water. When they start to wilt a little, I water mine. That way I KNOW the soil is dry.

yeah ill be at my local home depot tomorrow and ill look into one. one last thing. when do i start giving them some type of blooming solution? at how many weeks/months?
