food Fiery Failures

Anyone had great ideas that just came out horrible?
Invented this gem the other night:

Red Snapper
1/2 cup of Sour Cream
1/4 cup of Greek Yogurt, honey
1/2 lime juiced
1 red habanero
pinch of thyme and nutmeg

Food processor'ed it all together, grilled the fish on lemon slices on the grill... added sauce and served. It was disgusting. lol

I'm going to try it again as some chicken kabob marinade but yeah, it was pretty sour and did not go well with fish at all.

Drop the thyme, nutmeg and honey.

Cook the chile with the fish.

The sour cream/yogurt/lime is classic and awesome on seafood by itself.

Hear me now, 'bleed me later.

I think that should be used for all failures and would be a great thread!

I remember the one before my last granita with an unripe annuum, wild plums of some kind:
