Just thought I would share my triumph with y'all since this forum contributed almost all the knowledge to get me here. Just some background I started these plants in may and in pots . Not optimal I know but I'm just proud I got them here and they are my first plants started from seeds. They are brain strain scorpions I believe. Hopefully I get some ripe ones before my non winter here in South Texas.

I'm south of Houston so I guess setx is more appropriate. This summer was terrible it stayed so hot it just kept dropping flowers. Finally this cool snap brought us into the high 80s day temp.
 
Sweet I'm in corpus. I think this year I put em out too late. I got a few pods before the 100 degree weather got here but not as many as I wouldve liked. Gonna stick em out a little earlier next year. Good luck to you

Same story in Tucson.  The long cool spell that Odile brought snapped most of my plants out of their summer stupor; they are blooming and setting pods like mad.  89 / 60 (!) today, with more on the way.  Just about perfect.  :)
 
I'm glad I'm not the only one getting a reprieve. This summer was crazy not overly hot but just not enough to hamper all my plants. since my last posting mine are going crazy. So many pods and new flowers. I'm just going to hope we don't get any weird cold fronts that come through.
 
Same here we started the summer in a drought and ended it in monsoon conditions. Quick question should I be worried that I didn't support my plants?
 
Ok so I'm starting to see worrying signs on my plants. I came home today to find spots on almost all of my 6 pepper plants. Here's what they look like.

Is this bacterial leaf spot???? If not should I be worried and or what can I do to stop it before it gets to bad??? Any help would be appreciated
 
Looks like BLS to me.. I would take those leaves of and get that thing away from the others asap..maybe get it in full sun and try and keep it dry as possible. Id start spraying with a copper fungicide to try and slow it from spreading but once the plant is infected you cant stop it. I had 2 plants this season that were destroyed by this. Also wash your hands after handling it to prevent it from spreading to the other plants.
