smoking Finally, my Memorial Day food porn...

Well I have been having some troubles getting these pics uploaded (dead batteries in camera, slow moving computer), but finally here they are:

I will post them in the order they were cooked and served. I left out the salads (potato, macaroni, broccoli), the coleslaw, baked beans, salsas, and corn, so all we're left with is all the glorious MEAT!!!

First up is the skewers. Chicken Satay served with peanut sauce, and moose tenderloin served with a Vidalia onion sauce:

Next came the wings:

Next the ribs before:

Ribs after:

Chipotle Lime chicken quarters:

Jerk Chicken:

And finally the grill shot with the quarters, Korean Pear BBQ pork loin chops, the ribs, and the poppers.

Along with two cases of beer, pitchers of mojitos and rum punch, what a feast!!

Edit: Ooops no pics of the pork chops sorry...

looks like you did it up right JayT....mouth is watering here...

Wow great looking grub! I usually don't cook too much chicken on the grill, but that jerk chicken looks great. Do you make your own jerk sauce / rub? I think I may do something like that soon...

That was on the smoker LGHT not the grill. Ummm no you caught me on the jerk, it was Walkerswood. I make my own in the summer when I have fresh scotch bonnets, but this was bottled. The chipotle lime quarters were my own though and they were even better IMO. Thanks for the kind words guys. That was one great BBQ, ate it all week. :)

JayT,

Let me know when you're coming to PC. I'll buy the meat and supply the peppers and you can cook on my smoker.

Good Job!

I'll have to pick up some jerk marinade. I usually try and make my own sauces rubs to taste, but I've never "jerked" anything before so I'll have to start somewhere. I have a few scotch bonnets in the ground so I'll have to wait and see if I get a good crop and if so will have a go at making my own. Not sure why, but I have never really liked chicken with BBQ sauce on it. Hot wings are another story though!

now thats a feast, & all of it looks great
I'd sample all of it but probably fill up on those tasty moose tenderlions & chicken satays :drooling:
I bet those wings were defcon wings.

Kinda on the wings CH, they were covered with my own rub and then given a good dose of Defcon's Smokey Dust. No sauce on these ones. They were hot, tasty, and juicy enough without the sauce on them which most likely would have burnt on the grill.
