Just had what I believe to be my first casualties due to the huge amounts of rain follows by the last 5 days of blazing inland Florida sun, most where from one Scorpion plant in a box and a couple came from a Red Datil.
Uh oh.... I've cut peppers open to find them like that on the inside.... I wondered what causes it... I guess those are pretty good factors. Wow sorry about that.
Yup , I've noticed all the superhots really hate having wet feet - really sesitive to root zone moisture levels over 75% for any length of time (>24 hours). florida is a really tricky climate IMO - brutal sun, yet brutal humidity and rain which is really hard on plants with disease or fungal susceptibilities.
