I bet they will because the grow bags are air pruning.
I've made the switch this season to all grow bags and air pruning pots. I think I have 3 dozen 7 gallon pots now besides several dozen grow bags. I think I have a total of 3 dozen various types of tomatoes, peppers, berries and citrus in them this season.

Grow bags need a tiny bit more attention and planning but i think they are worth it. The difference i saw last year using cheap Walmart bags for my lemon drops and lumbre convinced me.

Grow bags definitely seem great. I put a ground cherry in a reusable bag made of burlap and it's killing it. It was started about a month behind the peppers and it's way far ahead. Of course that's part it just being a ground cherry and not a pepper but it's still super impressive

Can get up to 103. Ina few weeks. But mostly 98-102 highs. Its in a full sun area. A. Slight wilt at sunset. And perks up after water and sun set. Extra care if n the bags. Does that mean more than frequent watering?

100 degree temps, full-sun, without shade cloth? Yeah, man. Possibly twice a day. What size is the container?
