first time committing to peppers

thought i'd be daring and throw up some pics

i have 90% of my peppers planted; waiting for some 2nd starts to harden off to fill the rest up

i have jalapenos and super chili from the nursery; the rest are all seed starts

guajillo, pasilla/chillaca, pulla, mulato isleno, sheepnose pimento, black congo, chocolate habs, 7 pot orange, ghost, devils tongue plus some flavorburst, carmen, padron and yankee bell

most are in the ground, i put 7 super hots in containers, too.....althoug i am in 6a, it can be unpredictable in the fall.....i should have plenty of time, but if any of the super hots decide to pull one of their 120-140 day routines, i have the relative ease of extending them a bit....although they've been going since feb, and i should be fine barring a freakish fall

a few pics from today.....how are things looking? i've been doing the garden thing for a few years, but i'll i have done for peppers in the past is bell, jalapenos, super chile, serrano, ancho, banana, carmen, etc from the nursery......first time with the super hots and mexican chiles

thanks all.....i think everything is planted tonight

there's 4-5 mexicans i need to keep an eye on, but i have a ton already....if i lose themn, i'll grab some replacements from the nursery......they always have a pretty good selection of basic stuff

just need 19 more stakes for tomatoes....and have to plant a few more marigolds here and there, and another round of lettuce ;)

gotta get a count on total peppers, somewhere +/- 80 in the ground....and 10 in containers (found 3 more random from peppermania that appear to be chinese?)

a few more pics...

san P - from the edge of the tomatoes towards the center of the garden for about 10' is brand new.....tilled the sod a bunch of times, covered with black plastic for a month......tilled the dead & rotting organics back into the soil, then tilled in a yard plus of seafood compost (another yard went in where the peppers are)

i've got a bit of clay......but i've been working compost, chopped leaves in the fall, etc to get it into pretty good shape

next year i'll probably add another 8' or so to bring the left edge even with the edge of the squash bed......a bit more room for some other stuff
