Flower drop? Stigma remains.

I recently pollinated 2 mature flowers with a cotton swab and today I saw that the flowers fell from both buds but the stigma remains? Is this a sign of pollination?

The flower falls off and the inside becomes the pepper. As long as the entire thing didn't fall you're fine

Usually when people talk about flower drop, they mean literally the entire flower drops off, not just the petals. In this case I would think pollination was successful, but you never really know until you see the fruit start to swell and grow.
