Forked leaves? WTF?

so heres one ive never seen before...  is this a genetic mutation or just something that happens occasionally?
its a Jalapeno, about 18 inches tall and still growing, plant looks healthy, I feed it Alaska fish emulsion and lobster/seaweed ferts... occasional doses of calmag as well.  all of a sudden it has 4 leaves that are forked like a snakes tongue.

I believe this is a result of an overdose of the Lobster/Seaweed ferts.

It seems as though the dreaded "Lobster Claw Phenomenon" has taken hold of this plant and there may be no coming back.

I suggest placing the plant next to a pot of boiling water for an hour or two. This will trick the Lobster trait within your plant into thinking it is about to be prepared for consumption. Thousand island dressing, and Lemon wedges strategically placed nearby will also help in some cases. Hopefully these steps cause the phenomenon symptoms to regress.

If all else fails and the "Lobster Claw Phenomenon" takes full effect, may I sugget this.

Hope this helps,

SR.

Well done!

Same thing happened with some leaves on a jalapeño plant I grew last year from seed, it looked like two leaves had fused together or something.
