Hey Everyone,
This is my first year doing peppers but I've already done a good ammount of research and doing good so far. The only thing I didn't know about was the correct pot size, but glad I did a google search and found this forum! After my peppers were getting too big in the seed starter kit, I transplanted and had about 5 to one of those long but narrow pots you normally see in people's windows/balconies, thinking it would be enough room but I learned I would end up with a very low yield and some unhealthy plants this way.
So I went ahead and bought more pots and soil (and perlite after reading a lot of good things), and now every pepper plant has their own 6 gal space pot.
I just moved up here to Connecticut in January from Virginia and didn't decide to start doing this until April so i'm behind but hoping I have some yield in the late summer / early fall.
