from my experience i would say it's a habanero-type of the red variety. anything else would be a shot in the dark

Did it have more than 1 bud per node?
Might not even be a Chinense...I've had Annuums and Baccatums(gold specks in flowers) that looked a lot like that.

Not all cap chinense are habañeros

Habañero-type is not descriptive.
