plant-care Frost, Potting, Overwintering Question

We had our 1st frost Sat/Sun night.
I brought in all my potted peppers & covered my 10 that were in the ground. Yesterday, I transplanted those into 3 gal pots & brought them inside too.
My Q is: Would you recommend picking off the remaining pods/floweres to encourage root growth or leave them alone to do what they want?

I do have an update: Droopy / Wilting Cayenne
It turns out one problem was not enough water due to run-off. I dug a small trench around it & it did great. I got 20+ pods from it with another 3 still on the plant. The OTHER problem I discovered yesterday was: even though I broke apart the peat pot it came in, it never really broke out of it. It was still pretty much root bound. I did remove the peat completely before transplanting it. Geez.. what's she gonna do now that she can stretch her legs?
Thanks in advance.
