As a quick side note...
I was named after my grandfather whose name was Marcel. But my name was actually supposed to be spelled "Mark" with a 'k' and that's how it was written on my birth cards! But when I was registered in the birth register it was spelled wrong (with a 'c') and that's how I became Marc with a 'c'!
Maybe they could make a tv series with this title? There's already a series "Anne with an 'e'" - and I happen to have sister whose first name is "Ann" (without an 'e')
