Thank you! Normally around the end or April/beginning of May. I have started 12 varieties early, mainly to get the c. pubescens going in hope of some pod set before the heat kicks in. Take care my friend!

Thanks Scarecrw! I really dig the peat pellet. I always seem to have high germination rates with them. I like the mobility of them the most. Anytime i use a multi-cell trays with starter soil on heat mats, I always have issues with seeds on the sides. Luckly last season, My shelving system i made, with HO T5s, keep the top shelf at about 82˚ to 85˚ & seeds seem to just pop without using the heat mat. Four more hooks tonight!

I had to look that one up & it's just a more common yellow manzano/rocoto. It should more yellow than orange.
I started 6 different Pubescens. I have another one hooking, a Brown rocoto, tonight.

I was really talking about what makes the germination list. Lots of good choices.

Awesome you have several different types!

Will be interesting to see how they all compare.
Right now I'm growing Orange Manzano only,
but want to try some other varieties in the future.

Good move on starting the pubescens early, Jason. And the Pimenta de Neyde, too; I was surprised how slow-growing that one was for me last year. I need follow suit soon on getting some of these going.

Thank you Paul! I wanted to have a selection for taste and to see what does best in my climate. First time growing any pubescens, so hoping they do well.
