I was a bit worried about PA's brutal weather the past week with another few days to go of very hot temperatures and no rain. Thought I would post some pics as the "outdoor tubes" are doing quite well.
Should be another few weeks 'til they turn red.
There are going to be a LOT of serranos this year! Please with this since I'll be able ot make tons of pickled serranos and "cowboy candy".
Heirloom Romanscos coming along nicely in the tubes.
Barely domesticated Oaxacan Cherry tomatoes about to turn red.
Old-school popcorn genetics - the silks turn pink/purple when they are pollinated.
Have about 350 pepper plants out there so I am hoping it will be a good year with not too many curve balls.
The tubes have saved me a lot of work, which is nice.
