Omri, you asked if my huge Golden Habanero is close to being stable? Well...I'll let you decide from this picture. lol. WTF, I shouldn't have fertilized using left over nuclear compost. :)

WOW that's one of the most unstable plants I've ever seen! even my F1's are looking more stable. at least they all look like they came from the same plant.

Yeah, I'm guessing it is. It was given to me by a friend who bought the seeds commercially. They had that name when bought. I'm finding overall the pods are bigger consistently on this plant than any Fatalii I've grown.

I agree the pod shape is identical. It's probably a Fatalii grown with perfect pod selection over generations. I love the puddles of capsaicin in the pods. lol.

I have some 5packs- says types yellow, orange habs, are these the same as Golden?
Do you have a link to the 5 pack? There are a number of yellow Habaneros that had more of a resemblance to Congo Yellow or Caribbean Yellow. I would bet what you have is unlikely to be a Golden Habanero. The Golden Habanero originally referenced in this thread is from The Great Chilli Farm.
