I bought a big, plastic pot with drainage holes on the bottom for a habanero plant I bought a while ago. It died within a week or two. I'm pretty sure it drowned. I also only put potting soil in the pot, so that couldn't've helped. What are some really good 20 gal pots/buckets for growing? Thanks!

My mother in law has a home in AZ and she asked that I setup a few siling labuyo plants for her. Due to the hot weather 100 plus most of the sumemer I went with a single 30 gallon SIP container for 2 plants. This allowed the plant to get as much water as it needed without her having to water the plant multiple times a day. I went with a heavy peat most, vermiculite mix. I also added a small 1/2" layer of lava rock on the bottom in the center as I didn't want the entire bottom of the container to wic water.
