...all I have to sa is DAMN! I'm a fan of the old fox body mustangs (used to have an '86 Merc Capri 5L) but this here sounds so hot and goes so fast. I'm watching again.

yeah, the old fox body mustang is one of the best platforms to use if you want to go fast for cheap.

We have a huge racing scene here in Tampa, its great. I'm actually more into 4 cylinders, but hang out with the domestic V8 crowd. I have a nice(not rice) civic hatch with a stock 98 Integra Type-R motor, mid 13 second car.
 
I know you guys are V8 lovers, and I hang out with that crowd(more military people). Hope you guys don't mind, here is a picture of my old rice burner. Its beat many V8's, and been beat by many V8's, LOL. It has a stock ITR motor, mid 13 second car. It will have a new stock K20(RSX) motor soon. Should be a low 12 second car, with a stock 4 cylinder motor.

A guy I know recently put a stock K24(TSX) in an old Honda CRX, ran 11.4 in the 1/4 mile.

Fast is fast. I enjoy it all. Rice is the assholes with the fart pipe can and a huge spoiler. There's a video on youtube where a guy took a civic body and put it on a corvette frame. Type in civette. Pretty cool.

I just saw the videos, pretty cool. The guy who does my motor work ran 8.9 in the 1/4 mile in his 800HP CRX, but he races professionally. I also have a friend who has converted his 750HP civic to a track-only car, after beating the fastest Cobra in Tampa, runs high 9's. Having children and growing peppers has been slowly taking me out of the game. I want to build a big jacked-up truck for my next project.
 
That is a sharp little car and it should be very fast and nimble on the street. To some a mid 13 second car doesnt sound fast but if one can drive their car to their fullest, they can take down a lot of opponents with much faster vehicles.

Thanks, 13's is definately not fast, but its good enough to hang with the V8 boys. Considering a LT1 z28 is a mid/low 14 second car, and stock fox body is right around the same. I've even took out a couple LS1 owners because they couldnt drive. Its a bat out of the hole, and you have to factor in driver ability. I just think its bad-ass that you make a stock-motored honda into an 11 second car. It breaks the racing rule, you get to have a cheap, reliable, and fast car. Normally you can only have two of the three, not all three.

If its fast and reliable, it aint cheap
If its fast and cheap, it aint reliable
If its cheap and reliable, it aint fast

You can drive your stock 4-cyl to the track, take out a new c6 corvette, and drive it back home, its nuts. I also have to say that I have owned V8's in the past. However, driving this car through the twisties will convert any man! Its like a go-kart on steriods LOL, its so fun to drive.
 
I also just have to say, even though I hang out with the V8 boys, nothing is better than beating them after they talked shit. Its exactly the same way with peppers. Maybe thats why I like peppers so much. People who talk shit get burned!
 
That's a sweet car, sub10 seconds and possibly less than 20k spent on that car.

While I bought my Sky new, for only about 6k extra I have a low 12 second car :)
