Got flowers?

Not my first time growing peppers from seed, but first try with artificial lighting. Started most in mid december, picked the tips out of all but one to keep em short. the big ones are starting to get flower buds. they will go outside this spring, should be interesting to see how they do with the nice head start...

here are some pictures

250W HPS grow area. rows from L to R: Suave orange habanero, bhut jolokia, tabasco. some numex twilight seedlings and a red hab from 10 year old seeds off to the side. big tabasco dropped a lot of leaves, repotted it, seems to have slowed that a lot. anyone else had that happen?

beautiful plants, and welcome! i started mid january (habs end of december tho, didn't have to wait for mail order seeds) but am keeping them in little pots extra long to keep 'em smaller so yours are lightyears ahead of mine. i like the head start too.

You're getting a lot of red spectrum with hps bulbs, which is likely why you have a lot of early flowers

Very nice looking I just keep getting the itch and wanna boost my growth so I going out and wave my magic wand some more it isntworking to well so far. They just slow growing lol

Willard, by far you are the most mysterious poster on the forum. You post great close up pics (never far away), been here longer than I have, have awesome information about peppers and growing them, we never have seen what you look like, not even a glimpse, nor have we seen your set up for gorwing....is it true you are actually a martain cow monitoring the forum for hints to see if we're getting too close to the truth?

Thats him in the avatar right? In his sunday best for a portrait.

Ditto on the great info.

My avatar is Genovevo De La O, a general in Zapata's army in the 1910-1920 revolution in Mexico. Zapata is a particular hero of mine as he in one of the few generals who won a war and never entered politics after he won.....he went back to raising horses. Try to think of somebody else who did that.

I think what I look like is not terribly important, but my mother says I'm handsome. I am a Yankee like you wouldn't believe.

Here is my growing space.....I also grow a couple of plants outside in dirt in summer as well.
