Got this in a bag of peter peppers

Went to the farmers market today and scored some peters and found this in it. Now im a complete noob but im pretty sure this is not a peter.

Any ideas?

Thats what I was thinking but ive never had a douglah before. There is a definite distinction of flavor and heat between this and the peter peppers

Peter may produce such a pod if there are few seeds in it (in that case the pod is smaller and have less heat). Small seeds quantity may be caused by too warm weather, which caused sterilization of pollen.

Maybe these peppers were a few inches below the peter.
