So I have been putting off starting this blog for far too long! So I was recently added to the Community Garden, and was even fortunate enough to grab 2 full plots!!! This is on top of the containers I have going on my front porch, and I am super pumped!!! So far I am running somewhat behind on getting my peppers started, so I might end up purchasing (oh no!) some nursery peppers, at the recommendation from TXCG! Fair warning our plots are side by side, so chances are you will see us back and forth quite a bit on the same subjects!
So without further delay, Here is a photo dump of everything that has happened these last few months! I will post updated pictures this weekend of how everything looks right now!
Habanero, second season, putting out some SICK new growth for this early in the year!~!!
Beets, most of which got thinned out, and a few of them are starting to look rather nice, I will have to update to a more recent pic this weekend to show them off!
This next one is relatively recent, I honestly cannot remember if its a Peter pepper, or a pepperoncini, or what.... guess we will have to wait and see!
Also, unfortunately I am pretty sure I lost my would-be-third season Orange 7 pot over the winter, I waited too long to harvest the last pods, and now its going solid brown and dry. Same for the Jalapeno (also 3rd season), except there is still a lot of green in the branches, but no leaves, so I am crossing my fingers to see it come back to life... I'll have to make sure not to procrastinate the final harvest this next winter...
