misc Greatest City to Drink in..

Not ALL cities are good drinking towns. Frankly, Vegas is one of the worst "beer/ale" towns you'll ever find. The selections in the casinos are beyond contempt.

Minga! (aka München.. What you guys call Munich).

Many Biergarten, Bierkeller and offcourse the Oktoberfest.

2nd place goes to Frankfurt am Main (Alt Sachsenhausen district).

Twisp, WA (that's Washington State, not Western Australia ;)  )

at Scovie's Bar & Grill

Best durn pulled pork west of the Mississippi, relaxed atmosphere, gorgeous views of the surrounding landscape and no LastCall!

And the owner's wife is pretty darn cute, too.  :D

OH!  and it's also a B&B so you don't have to worry about driving home!

just remember to keep it between the navigational beacons~

I almost always have fun drinking in Austin, and they've added a bar I've yet to try but sounds awesome. Its called the brew exchange. Market based beer sales. Buy low, drink high.

The craft beer scene there has exploded, makes for a great day of exploration.

I also had great times in Denver on our honeymoon. Loads of breweries, most of which have free tours and samples. The altitude mixed with 10% beers will definitely sneak up on you though

I have had a lot of fun in Denver and Colorado Springs. Manitou Springs is also fun to walk around when its warm out.  Woodland Park is all about the scenery.

Really the most fun is drinking with strangers in other countries that are from other countries.

This in fact is very true
Ill buy every time just for the visit

I don't normally go out and about drinking - too many fecking idiots on the road - I don't need to be one too.  But occasionally myself and my wife take a day off work and make use of Uber.  Our version of date night.

How are the brews there? I really enjoy the view from the top of Table Mountain. Also, I like that you can order beer, and have it delivered to your doorstep in 20-30 minutes in Cape Town. Good way to keep drinking, and not have to figure out who is the most sober to make a liquor run.

Sounds like we might be neighbors.  I'm in Ukrainian Village.

Yeah I'm at the edge of Logan Square and HP! We'll have to grab an adult beverage when the weather quits being bi-polar!
