Garlic / green garlic should be no problem. Bear garlic might be a problem. I found a lot of quotes in the web that it's a PITA to try to grow it from the seeds. The usual way is to grow it from the clove and I'm sure Philipine customs would find the cloves in a birthdaycard. Shall I try to get some seeds either? How high is your greed for it compared to your frustration tolerance?
