Its 56 degrees outside, but nice and toasty in the greenhouse. I was able to pick just over a pound of peppers today...and they are still growing. (I took the pics after I picked all the ripe ones off.) Since November I have just been watering them about once a week with Masteblend Pepper formula water.

I know its not accurate cause the sun is directly on that side (3 pm), but it is nice and warm in here. My guess would be mid-high 80's.

7 pod whites in a hydro grow tote...this is easily my most productive plant. Next year I'm going 100% grow totes.

I have 8 plants left in 5 gallon grow bags and a hydro tote in the corner (can't see it in this pic).

Brown Scotch Bonnets are browning up nicely ...They are about ping pong to golf ball size.

Way to grow Quincy! I remember when you put that greenhouse up.

What else are you growing besides what you pictured?

Apparently hydro is the way to go.

Yeah the hydro tote takes a bit more to set up in the beginning, but that thing is very low maintenance. I just water it with 5 gallons of Masterblend formula water and spray it with epsom salt once a week when it starts to flower. I would go weeks between watering sometimes. That Masterblend is working great...dark green leaves, really thick solid trunk and very nice pod production. The only change I plan to make next year is go with the Black & yellow construction totes, because they seem sturdier. And just do a 50/50 coco coir-perlite mix. I'll throw in a handful of mix in the top when I transfer a plant to it (tomato-tone/ Azomite/ Worm castings). But the one I did this year seems to work really well. 
 
That's great!  May I ask what's the low night temp?  I grow in the greenhouse, too.  I'm hoping mine will make it through the winter.

It's starting to go down to the high 30's low 40's at night outside...so far it has been a warm winter. We'll see how it is in Jan/Feb when it should be a lot colder. I'm not sure what the temp is in the greenhouse, my wireless thermometer busted a few weeks ago. I just have the one milk house heater in there set to about 75 degrees.  
 
You have no idea how jealous I am! Great looking setup. I am currently working off the frozen pods from this summer. Great motivation to try a greenhouse...if only I could convince the wifey that it is worth it!

Its really not that expensive, for a 12 x 12 hoophouse (baseboard, frame, connectors and film) it was $355 (plus taxes). The film, wiggle wire and wire channel were bought online, everything else was bought at Home Depot or Lowes. So for less than $400 you can have a basic 12x12 greenhouse and if you want to add fans, doors, flooring, benches,  ect...  that is up to you and your wallet. If you go with PVC pipe instead of metal then it will be considerably cheaper (not sure how it will hold up though). I found that even when I throw in the cost of the stuff I added it was still less than the cost of any 12 x 12 kit I found out there. I put it up two winters ago and it has held up through tornado winds, 100+ degree heat, snow, ice storms and my 90lbs dog pissing on it. I have had no issues with it. If you have the space and want to extend your season, I highly recommend it.

   We are moving looking for a bigger house and will be moving in the spring to somewhere with a bigger backyard (0.5 acre lot or bigger), so I have plans to build a bigger 20 x 24 greenhouse with Poly-Vent walls  (http://www.greenhousemegastore.com/product/poly-vent-iii-natural-vent-system/greenhouse-cooling). Total for that complete with three 20" exhaust fans and four 24" shutter vents, is going to be about $2000. Which is still way cheaper than any 20x24 kit I can find. 
 
Its an extra expense to build but once its up the only thing you should have to worry about is replacing the film every few years when it wears out, mine is on 2 years looking just fine. I put a $40 milk house heater in there to keep it from freezing and so far so good. We'll see how it holds up through the spring. All I'm going to do is water these peppers with Masterblend water over the winter and see how they do.
 
A week before Christmas and still producing. I picked a little over a pound again today, two weeks after the last haul. The Chocolate Habs look great !!! Santa better bring me a dehydrator for Christmas...the freezer is getting full ! Going to start working on hot sauce, powders and salsa recipes after New Year.

where did you get your hoop bender from?
 
Picked another 2.35 lbs of peppers today! Then I pruned all my plants back to the nubs. Going to see how they do for the next month or so until it gets warmer. They are in 5 gallon grow bags, which I think the roots may have outgrown. I want to up size them to 27 gallon totes, but we are planning to move to a new house in the next few months and I don't want to have to move a bunch of totes. That's why I'm not starting any new seeds this year either.
