greetings from Belgium !!

Hello Nicole,
Yes many people left Europe during or after WWII, who wouldn't... wasn't exactly a nice place to live in those days...
Luckily times have changed... :)
What is her name if I may ask?
Anyway, always welcome in our tiny country. Nice piece of chocolate and a cold beer are wating for you...

Her maiden names was Olga Hakim. She is one of seven. They've gotten some press over the years here in the U.S. as being part of the "Belgian Underground". I also laughed when someone asked if you were in the flemmish or french part, because when my grandma was there you had to know more languages than that; my great grandmother was fluent in seven lang! My great grandma was also well known there because she was a Pianist. Jeanne Hakim.. Don't know her maiden name though

Greetings!

Suddenly I'm craving belgian chocolate with cayenne.

Is it belgian if its made by a belgian? haha, if your standards of belgian chocolate are that theyre made by a belgian, ironically I made chocolate brownies with cayenne and dusted with coarse sea salt...

heres the link, the cayenne ones arent up because they are small batch, but if you wanted one you could order a bhut brownie and just write in the comment/message part that your want a cayenne one
