Greetings from Cape Cod!

Hey everyone,

I decided I needed to join this awesome forum because I've been growing peppers for a few years now and I know I want to continue.

The real thing that pushed me to join is the fact that I purchased six pepper plants that were sold as pepperoncini, and they are clearly not. They have flowers that I understand could indicate that they are c. Baccatum, and the fruit is starting to turn brown. They're pretty small, not more than two inches in either direction. Here are a few pictures:

I'd love to hear what you guys think!

Yes, that flower indicative of  C. baccatum

Welcome, I love the baccatum as well. Absolutely wonderful pepper. For another C. baccatum, try out a Wartryx... technically a baccatum interspecfic hybrid so the flower is a bit off, but interesting nonetheless.
