As is customary in these spicy parts of the interwebs, I have staked out this thread as my hello to all of you chiliheads.
I've had a fascination with the mythical chili since I was young, vividly remember trying a drop of Tabasco[sup]®[/sup] Brand Pepper Sauce and screaming and running around like the little baby that I was. Since then, I feel like I have been hooked. As a slightly older person, I regularly eat hot foods, and I tend to be putting the hots on a lot of food that people around me find quite unappealing.
I've also had my forays into gardening here and there, some tomatoes, some strawberries, things like those but with my limited space they never produced enough love for me. That's when I decided to start growing peppers. I soon came to discover that South Florida is prime pepper territory; Many pepper battles are fought on these hallowed spicy grounds.
I've recently got my first magmatic garden going, and I am oh so close to my first trivial harvest. I stumbled upon The Hot Pepper and just fell in love with the amount of information to be found, and so I joined your ranks.
I bid you tidings of good cheer and 3rd degree internal bleeding.
