After 35 years in Key West we now have settled in South Ft Myers. My super hots are producing like crazy and are sill budding. In Key West I couldn't grow my peppers in the ground as the juvenile Iguanas would eat all the buds and larger ones would tramp them down. I ended up hanging buckets from the upstair railings about chest high from the ground. The butterflys were almost as bad as their larva could defoliate a plant in a few days, some could get as large as your thumb and as long as your middle finger. I made tents out of screening and wire to hang over the buckets that worked well. I wish I had found your site years ago as I stumbled around making many mistakes.
