Grow bag fabric

Done :) Nice morning project

Material has seen a few winters so not flat, will be much easier with new fabric
Pics self explanations. 13" square base, saves material instead of round, will end up round any ways once soil in their. I folded over the material to give it a 2 ply thicker rigidity.
Once you have a pattern it should only take 5min a bag to sew.

Wow great job that's awesome! I would love to up my confidence enough to pull that off.. I'm going to make a thread on grow bag vs plastic container vs fabric bag vs airpot and see what people think. Would I be saving a lot of money by making my own or more just for the customizing/hobby part of things?

They have all different size WHITE ones on ebay which could be a +/- since it gets less hot down at the root zone.. Not sure on the quality as they are China though.. Buck a piece. Yours are super quality plus the two ply-nice hardy piece that won't break down overnight! Love it!

Thanks!
Easy when you practice :)
Dont know the cost, 54" of fabric per bag, this is a large bag too, good for a tree, could easily make it 1/3 smaller for a pepper plant, so you can calculate that from those measurements.

Thats way to much work I just purchased 5- 20 gallon fabric pots on Amazon for $16 shipped to my front door. And they are really sturdy ready to go right out of the box  :)

Major bump, but how did the burlap bag turn out? I put my ground cherry in one sold as a reusable bag and roots are poking out everywhere. I guess it'll work well for air pruning.

Havent used it yet, haven't had the soil, just got some today.

I'm definitely interested as to how it holds up if you end up using it any time soon. It seems like burlap would be cheaper than growbags, even if less durable.
