Grow Light questions

I just recently got a viparspectra 1200 watt full spectrum LED grow light and it is pretty bright.

My question is I put reflective foil all around the light set up, but purple light (blue- veg and red- bloom both on) fills my living room, but it is better now than before i put the foil up.  
 
Is this dangerous for my eyes and how about my cat that like to run around under there?
 
I dont want to have to move it elsewhere in my apt unless i have to.

It says Full Spectrum which would make me believe UV is included. If it has UV, yes it is dangerous to look directly at.
 
Go to a Hydro store and pick up a roll of thick Mylar, shouldnt bleed as bad as that emergency blanket looking tarp.
 
How high do you have that light, do you notice any stretching plants?
