contest Growdown: Micro Hydro

Time for a new competitive grow!

This winter we are doing micro hydro. That's right, micro hydro.

The rules are as follows:

Any hydroponic technique qualifies: DWC, NFT, Aero, etc.

Total volume of nutrient solution must not exceed 1/2 gallon.

C. Chinense plants only.

The goal: a race to ripeness. The first fully ripe pod harvested wins.

Start date is Dec 1st. The contest will end on the day of first harvest.

Sounds like fun but I'll probably have to pass on this one. My big light is only running 10 hours a day for slow steady growth over the winter. That isn't enough for the contest. If I can figure out a way to make it work, I might change my mind. 
 
You said Chinense plants only. Does that mean that we each pick what we want and start them on 12/1?

humm sounds interesting.. i guess i should grow my Ghana green pods..i have 3 areo gardens but will just put them outside since i live in arizona.. and its 80 deg today;;

Yes Jeff. Any chinense plant is allowed.
