As long as your seeds came from the correct source then you are good to go. More the better in my opinion. Your plant is looking good.

I know this is taboo (small pepper weigh ins), but here is a new weigh in. A far cry from 500g, but 1 pod at 4.51 grams.

Total weight thus far, 3 pods at 20.85 grams. I have a decent crop that should be ripening soon for a big weigh in, and tons of flower. Long as I keep up the bleach, vinegar, and battery acid drench we are in business! Thinking a glycophosphate foliar spray tonight is in order for that extra edge!

Looks like 4 grams of scum on that scale. Are you sure u tared correctly?
 
Don't count us field growers out. I'm getting heavy blossom set and haven't even switched out of my high nitrogen feeding schedule yet. Wait for it. Its coming hard and with the antifreeze foliar feeding I've been giving her she'll last well into December.

Mine looks the same - what is it that causes that moisture? I'm spilling dry nutes but in the morning it looks like dew.

I had to go out and take another look - sure enough, there are flowers. The lower nodes are all covered in flower scars so it looks like it's been putting out flowers and dropping them. I wonder if it'll hold on to these flowers - I doubt it as we're well in the 90s every day now.

This is a sensible chuckle right??

I found something similar but seems more like genetic stuff.

"Initially, fish AFPs were employed in these studies but as insect AFPs, with higher levels of antifreeze activity, were discovered these have become the AFPs of choice in plant transformation studies. Some studies have produced transgenic plants that have exhibited improved cold tolerance of 1-3 °C compared to the wild-type."
