Morrells are about the only mushroom I like and they are pretty hard to come by or very expensive to buy. I saw a couple kits available and spores for sale...I was just wondering if anyone has ever grown them and if so could you share your experience. I would be especially interested in growing indoors but outdoors would work too if they will grow better.

Growing Morrells...anyone doing it?

Morels are nearly imposible to cultivate indoors and the outdoor kits really aren't going to guarantee you mushrooms. They are a type of mushroom that needs sterile conditions which is why you often find them in the aftermath of forest fires. I find a few morel patches in my back forest every spring but you just can never have enough of them
