Hey, I have happened to use the topsy turvy hot pepper planter with some ornamentals, some Bhuts, and some random varieties of habaneros. I got up to 9 plants going on one successfully, and they produced great. The habaneros actually bloomed and set faster for me. 'biggest upside for me is that there is no such thing as overwatering with them. I used water soluble fertilizer once ever two weeks, and had a custom soil blend with some time released in it as well. I have a pic of some explosive burst hot peppers in one that are doing great this year. I am thinking of running another batch next year and using it to cross a few breeds naturally staggering them throughout. Another plus is it got visited more by the pollination helpers. Also, it doesnt necessarily have to be hung upside down. you can sit it on a flat surface cause it has a flat bottom and the plants on mine grew above the wire mounts length. And they are happy as can be on the ground.
