Gymnocalycium species cactus planted in a mix of coco+perlite

Great Looking Cacti !
I have not been active with mine, surprised its doing fine in -10c on the porch ( when temps drop to -30'sC) he even grew a bit.
I have not watered him, would freeze.
Like mentioned earlier, i'm not real into cacti and succulents but these are the 3 that I have. I felt sorry for them sitting there at the grocery store. The 2 larger ones have grown quite a bit since I got them but I just got the smaller one. I don't do much to them other than water when they totally dry out.

I have seen these plants in the shop, but they where much bigger.Lets compare the grow of the cactuses with before and after pictures:

I can see pretty big difference in the high of the cactus, but overall it looks pretty much the same as before.

This cactus have grown in high and in size, the difference is very notable. At this point i am not too sure anymore, that i nailed the names of there Mammillaria cactuses because there is so many similar looking ones and it is very hard to identify them without any flowers.

Here are a few pics of a few year round outdoor succulent/ cacti that I have in various containers. I'm OCD and have 100 or so containers of succulents outside and a dozen indoors year round. I don't know what moderation means with any of my hobbies rofl. I can't just have 1 citrus tree gotta have 8, not 1 avocado tree now I have 7, not 1 blueberry now 10, same with everything else I grow its a sickness haha. My succulents have gone from 5 or so varieties my wife had 3 years ago to 150 plus varieties in my yard now.

Had one casualty as one of the Mammillaria cactus died from rot, but the surviving members seem to be doing just fine for now:

Upon inspecting the Mammillaria pot, the cactus have not grown any roots inside the coco coir so it just stayed in the initial soil it have been growing all this time.
