Taste like a habanero but not as hot (hits a lil on the tip of my tongue and the back of my throat) and the scent just explodes from them when you cut them open. these are some huge pods the longest that i grabbed is a lil more than 3 inches long
Ima dry the seeds and see if they germ. and keep the same pod shape. My sister would like these for her salsa. not hot enough for me though
lookin a lil closer to some of the images online of the Madame Jeanette, they seem to be resembling them a lil more maybe not even a cross...?
Where'd you get the seed? What were they labeled as?
Tough to tell what they might be crossed with until you know where the seed came from and can guess as to what plants it came in contact with. Could be a madame jeanette but those lobes are really defined and bell-like so its possible that they were a hab or something crossed with a bell type as Vlad said.
