water habanero-water/Fret'/light

Thanks for all replays

The sprouts are at trays indoor,
Room temp of 86-89 by AC so i guess its a little dry
Light by 11000k LED strips 18/6 (i dont know watts, but its realy a lot of light)

If i water from top at morning, the soil is dry at next day
If i fill the tray 1/2" from bottom, all dry out after 2 whole days

Do sprouts need to be moist 24/7 ?

I would try topping it off at 1/2" for two days in a row and see if it can use that much. If it does then try watering every 36 hours. Keep adjusting till you find a rate and quantity where you have almost no water left but it's not bone dry yet in the tray since the tray will still be wet and lose water from evaporation after the water is too shallow for the soil to wick any up into the pot. This is assuming your soil drains well, ultimately you are the best judge of this since you can monitor them in person.

A more conservative approach would be to not water at all until the plant shows some droopiness associated with overly dry soil, but the problem with this ideal is that if your schedule does not allow you to be present when this moment happens, you are better off having a little reserve water in the tray until you get a chance to water again.
