I use a 1 gallon pump sprayer with wand from Walmart, $5.

My tent is 52" wide by 42" deep. I can reach all the way into the back.

yeah anything over 2 ft is a bit annoying to water.

a pump in res / long hose works. or sprayer is the same idea.

another is to place the plants in trays and water the whole tray at once (bottom water)

I only have 4 plants in a 3 x 3, so I went with drip rings and gravity feed them from a 5 gallon bucket. Each drip ring has its own shutoff valve so I can shut them down as stood as there's runoff and not flood the tent. Drip stakes would probably be simpler if you have a lot of smaller pots to water though.
