podpiper - for eating chiles no I do not take the insides out, ever! they dont bother me 1 bit & more roughage in the diet but last harvest season after reading on here its better to take the insides out & leave dry on paper towel for keeping seeds, so thats what I did for 1 variety last season(incase I cant find it again)
the season before I dried the chiles in a dehydrator & then took the seeds which was a big mistake on my part, after knowing the temps you all dried yours at for keeping seeds.
daisy - I also use a nesco w/motor on top (best place for it too IMO) they work just fine & they're priced really fair. I got mine at walmart years ago.
