Has anyone grown this?

I am growing the black and purple assortment from thsc this year. It comes with the black pearl, black prince, explosive ember, and the Chilli Costa Rica. I don't know what any of them taste like yet, but they do look really nice with the black leaves and purple flowers and fruit.

Im growing but only have 1

Found this really cool looking chili plant called "Black Pearl", looks great but can't find much info about it.
Has anyone grown this before?

I want one!

i have some of these growing right now that are about 1 1/2 feet tall already. There wicked fun to grow and grow fast once you get them in a big pot. You can get the seed from Johhnys seed catalog.

Just bought seeds, johnny's is a great site but unfortunately I cannot import from int. have to rely on local stock.
I just want one for looks, the black foliage looks awesome :)

I have 36 Black Pearl starts. Got a bunch of seeds from the Extension Service in NM last summer. The seeds are about 10 years old and germinated about 90%. This is my first year growing them and they seem to be hardy. They are so distinctive that I did not even have to label them. I'm hoping to make a hedge with them in the back yard.

I bought one of those peppers about 3 years ago from Home Depot. I now have about 6 or 8 plants growing in my flower bed. They are very hardy.
