lighting Has anyone use Induction grow lights here?

I was looking at an Induction grow light, how would this compare?

300W, 120V Bi spectrum inductive light. 2700/5400K. 40.5 Effective Lumen/Watt

which would be, 12,150 lumens.

I can't seem to find a lot of info on it though. Its on eBay going for about $200.

I'm probably buying a HPS this week so I'm outweighing the other choices.

I have very little experience with lighting, especially something like this.
Only thing I can think of would be that you want different K for different stages of plant growth. Like one for when it is veg stage and then one for flowering.
Like I said very little experience here, hopefully someone more knowledgeable will chime in here as I want to know the pros and cons of something like this....

I don't know anything about these lights either. but I want to try. If you don't want it let me know so I can bid.

nevermind:

You can get dual arc bulbs now. They cover a wide spectrum of light and i think you can plug them up to a standard hps ballast.
I believe they have them in 600w also maybe 400w.

What size hps are you gonna get?

I was just looking at a simple 400watt light like this.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/400-watt-400w-Dimmable-HPS-MH-Grow-Light-System-Set-Kit-/150656047425?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&var=&hash=item68c836719d

its got both bulbs.. and I was going to look at the high end Hortilux Eye bulb later on for it. I hear they were like 3-4x the cost but well worth it in spectrum usage.

I'm using them for flowering though. I have a number of fluorescent lights that worked perfect for making my 18-24" compact pepper tree - like plants.

But now I have hundreds of flowers and NOT FRUIT.. so I need better lighting.

40 lumens/watt sucks for efficiency.....you'll spend ma lot of money on electricity.

That's true, especially when you consider that a 600 watt HPS puts out 90,000 lumens...

...or 150 lumens per watt.

Not that you'd be using an HPS for vegetative growth, but a Metal Halide would still be putting out a lot more lumens per watt than just 40.
