Have you ever seen Butch Ts that look like this?

Hey all,

When my plants first started setting pods this year I thought I may have mixed up my labels since my supposed Butch T wasn't showing the scorpion shape and I was growing Scorpion Red, 7Pod yellow, and 7Pod Brain Strain, as well. So i figured I would wait it out and see what colors came out...

All my other plants are true to their labels except my Butch T. This is what they look like.

When they first started ripening.

Lost a branch in a bad thunderstorm a couple weeks back.

Picked a few this week. They are orange and not further turning to red like i thought they might.

What do you think? Mixed up seeds from the seller? Mutation? Or just a normal variation in the strain?

Funny enough that you should reply first. Both my Butch T and 7Pod yellow seeds are from pepperlover.com. The only other yellow pepper I am growing this year are Fatalli and Cumari and those both look very true.

The bottom look like yellow butch T's. Defidently Scorp. schape though. Maybe the just sent you yellow instead of red?

The top are not Butch Ts the bottom look like the Yellow Scorpions I got from AJ last month.

Orange habanero-ish not Butch T. Second could be Yellow 7 or Yellow Scorps.
