Have You Ever Seen This?

I've cut up many a pepper but never seen this:

This is a Hungarian paprika pepper (Szegedi 20). Several seeds had germinated inside the pod complete with green leaves and a root/shoot up to half inch long. From the outside, the pod looked like a perfect ripe pepper. I believe I can safely assume these seeds are viable!

I had one on Monday with a red seven pot only 1 seed in there and not as pronounced.

I've seen this in the last 2 papayas I bought, one easily had over 100 sprouts/leaves! I once had a tomato I bought from the farmers market actually have a sprout break through the skin and its leaves fully emerge in the open air... it was crazy! I sacrificed that one just to see how long it would live (about two weeks). I've never seen this in peppers specifically though - very cool!
